Let's put aside for the moment that spamming games is not just childish, not just wrong, but so trollish as to warrant pre-emptively booting your sorry butt from the forums. You may not be aware of this, and even that may be just a drop in the bucket of things you're not aware of, but Dracon's last appearance on this forum was to spam it silly. A couple weeks ago, Dracon and Cappa Kyle--both of which also enjoy spamming games, and not just ripoffs--thought it would be fun to fill Babble with the most profane, the most vulgar, the most repetitive posts they could dream up. (They'd literally make the same post 12 times, and say the same nasty thing in the post 500 times. Dracon was the worse of the two.) Given that your crowd isn't known for imagination, what they did come up with was quite surprisingly repulsive. Dracon and Cappa Kyle have been banned from this forum, and it's not going to take much deliberation for Dantom to oust any putz who proclaims to follow in their footsteps.

By allying yourself publicly not only with the hideous act of spamming games, but also with a heinous two-bit thug who did even worse by the forums, you've just made yourself an enemy of the entire civilized BYOND community. I suggest you reconsider your association with these brats, recant your dedication to attacking others' games (whether they're ripped off from someone else's or not), apologize profusely to the community, and then find a convenient orifice close to your brain in which to shove your ultimatum.

Odds are that Dracon did not steal them. Dracon was part of the creation of DBZ:NN until he left it to work on Genesis, so he probably got the icons from Haroki, who got them from GreenDice, if they were made for NN at all.

On a sort of related side not, I'm not too sure that it was Dracon that spammed like that.. Dracon left NN after a similar incident of his key acting like a complete fool. When I posted something on NN's board about it, he claimed that it wasn't him.. I sorta believe that. He's normally a somewhat sane person.

I could be wrong. He could just be another immature.. er.. expletive.

This I don't buy at all. In over 3 years of running a chat, and another year before that of being one of the (fortunately many) voices of sanity in a more open-to-the-public (read: defenseless-from-intruders) chat, I know that "My sister/brother/friend/neighbor/cat/dog/mailman/refrigerator did it" is the first resort of a troll who suddenly realizes that they've put themselves in front of a firing squad. It can be true, but it's only rarely so, and by rarely I mean I doubt if it's true in even 2 or 3% of cases. This type ignores all warnings until they one day land themselves in too much trouble to get out of.

In this case, the only way Dracon could be innocent would be if someone else was using his system to make those posts. Now that's not entirely implausible, but that someone else would have to know he frequents this site, and would also have to know a lot of his patterns. To my mind, the Dracon we saw in those posts was a lot like the Dracon we've seen in other posts, just more over-the-top obnoxious. He was acting out, and he knew it. Think of it this way: Imagine someone you know if they went on some hyper spaz attack where they deliberately chose to ignore all boundaries and do things they normally wouldn't. I've seen people behave this way before, to this degree and to lesser degrees; from my experience with trolls, it looks like Dracon to me.

And as I say when it comes to trolls, if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, shoot it and count the feathers later.

Bear in mind further that our spammer dragged Cappa Kyle into this. Was Cappa Kyle impersonated too? That would be near impossible, since they were posting at the same time and then you'd have to have two imposters working together. (And to be an imposter, they'd have to have direct access to a computer that had a browser cookie for staying logged into the forums.) Would someone who might have access to impersonate Dracon know Cappa Kyle well enough to collude with him to do this? Not even a prayer. Furthermore, we know Cappa Kyle is a spammer. We also know, as of this Livingdead return, that other spammers are well-affiliated with Dracon.

You do the math. He got his hand snapped in the rat trap in the cookie jar. I think lying about it is even worse than doing what he did in the first place, and gads, that's going some.
