A highly intelligent lab monkey, who can disasemble, and reasemble 13 computers, 3 bannana's, and 1 bowling ball, in under 5 minutes... *drools*

Probably GM. Wander around arbitrarily violating the laws of Nature, rewarding those who please you and punishing those who irritate you, then teleporting away when no one's looking.
In terms of real-world jobs, I guess it'd be pretty neat to be a cartoon creator guy, like Matt Groening or Trey Parker and Matt Stone. |

Computer Programmer :)
Right now I'm a Master Gardener and I Know I want the exact opposite of this job... :) |
Queen of air and darkness... although I must say, I'm also good with customer service.

If anything, I would be an evil overlord with the ability to command anyone to do *anything*, and command such respect that even if someone managed to try to assassinate me, the bullet would miss through the sheer force of my impressive aura. =) Failing that, I must be inclined to go with either developing software on my own time while I work for an organisation such as Environment Canada, or otherwise get a full-time job programming games for any company that wants my services... just as long as they want to program games that aren't children's games, or "adult" games. |

[snip] I'm also good with customer service. You know, I was doing a good job of avoiding the aura of fear you project until the picture of you handling customers for a living scared the bleep out of me. ;) PS: As for me, I've wanted to leave this universe and maybe create some music and games along the way. Game Designer, Programmer, Batma... (hush, Self, they don't know), Music Artist... whatever. I've made a pretty decent unemployed wretch so far. |

Actually, the customers I "handle" usually end the call feeling better about themselves, their situation, and above all the company they have chosen to deal with. Thus far, this has not resulted in me being promoted beyond customer service agent, so I think in another month or so I'm going to fall back on making them sorry that they called, which is what the people tapped for advancement seem to do, although not nearly as well as I could.

I think I would like to be a scientist doing new research, probably not in the social sciences, as much as I like to read about them... more like astronomy, physics or geology... then I would write books that make the new ideas interesting and accessible to the public, and would make big bucks on them, thus negating the need for my employment at a university and the tedious publishing of academic papers that comes with it.

I found customer service oddly satisfying myself. There is something about taking a raving, abusive maniac and turning them into a cheery apologetic kitten. Without physical violence, I mean.
Unhappily, the only challenging, interesting jobs I have been able to get have been volunteer jobs. Z |
I want to be in a job where I can create works of great beauty. Like running a sandwich shop.
|
One that gains me respect from the community and earns me a decent salary...
And have time for me to play around with programming language... |

A daily matress tester who works the night shift and gets paid extra for overtime.

I would like a job where I can freely insult and critisize anything from astronaughts to zebras, (ok, I oculdn't think of anything funny, so... er please dont sue me(especially squaresoft.. uh-oh!))Politics to Poultry, ect. and would get paid, laughed at, liked, and wouldn't get in trouble for doing so. Most likely a comedian (part time job as programmer). Or a proffesional programmer/electronics engineer/genetics engineer/Inventor/game creation (ideas, programming, ect. except for graphics) (one of those).
