A simple method to pan to a certain location without disrupting the character. There's also a cancel method to reset (simply call with no params).

I'm not at my computer right now to look at it, but I assume it's just attaching the clients eye to a camera object and using pixel movement to pan it?

Yep. It actually uses whatever movement is default. Gliding will still happen I believe. So it will remain smooth.

Seeing this idea for a lib actually gets my creativity flowing for something like a cinematography camera library with smooth, omni-directional movement to make recording gameplay footage much easier.

I was just noting the idea. I wasn't jumping up and down screaming, "I'm gonna make a cinematography library!"
