How do you propose that they stop it? They don't have complete control of what goes on, you know. Sure, they can delete hub entries and stuff like that, but who's going to prevent them from hosting it? Nobody. Nobody can. Dantom shouldn't have to "put an end to it"; it should never start.

There is a simple solution to all this crap: stop giving your source code out. Oh, you're working on a team with somebody? Simple: don't join a team. I'd only join a team if I trusted the person to a huge extent, like Gazoot or Shadowdarke. But even then, you have to be wary.

Stop giving your code out. We don't need any of this anymore.

Thanks.

If you've never given it out to ANYONE, then how did he get it? If he hacked you, then he can go to jail.

Since you're not the original owners of the code, didn't it occur to you that one of the previous owners could have foolishly given it out?

What's amusing here is that for all the great lengths you go to to defend the fact that you're making a game using the name "Final Fantasy" (and, we assume, various characters and plot devices therein), you're shocked, shocked to find that people are running clones of DBZ:NN or even games that bill themselves as being similar.

Explain your outrage. But give me 5 minutes to make some popcorn first.

I agree with you Lummox but, no comment otherwise...(been in enough trouble for one week.)

this is why i work on a game alone and just ask for help on the forum rather than giveing out my code. Last night when i hosted someone kept asking me for my code so he could learn how i made it (and by my code i mean ALL my code) i told him no i didn't want to give out all of my code.
