I am sixteen and I didn't realize how many people on byond were in their twenties or later. and to think I always thought video games was more of a kid/guy thing. I hope I get to make games all my life.

Well I was 7 when I started making games in GWBASIC back in the mid-80s. So I just never grew out of making games! :P

Mind you, that statistic, probably from some old Next Generation article, was from the PSX days. We have aged many moons since then. It's not like videogames are new. There were plenty before NES, which seems to be where videogames got really popular again. (I'm thinking the losing cries went from "that @#$%^&* Atari joystick" to "they won't let me move" around then. ;) ) If you are in your 20s or so, you grew up with them. Those who are older (well, maybe add a decade or two) may have seen how they started in the first place.* Why, when I was your age... Oh right. I had sold my NES for a guitar. I played my friends' systems through the 16-bit years before getting my own 32-bit stuff. Er...
