I just remembered a cartoon after reading the favorite shows thread. Highlander. I don't remember the subtitle. I think it was based on a comic.
It was a post-apocalypse thing where all but one immortal had sworn to stop playing The Game in order to rebuild. The one that refused became an evil tyrant. The other immortals made a prophecy about a new immortal falling from the sky to take down the tyrant.
Quentin McCloud is the new immortal. His village is raided by the tyrant when he is a teenager. Everyone (including Quentin) is killed except Quentin's sister. He spends the series finding other immortals who give him their quickening so he may fight the tyrant.

upright citizens brigade owned all!
Here is a quote from the show: Sorry for the cussing ;( I've been sticking $30 in pennies up my ass for the past 11 years! That's 3,000 pennies a day; 21,000 pennies a week; 1,092,000 pennies a year! To date that's 12,012,000 pennies, 8 times the population of Nebraska. Those pennies were in my ass! You think you're better than me? Oh, you're not better than me. You handle my ass pennies everyday. You pick up my ass pennies for good luck. You throw my ass pennies in fountains and make wishes on them. You give my ass pennies to your little daughter to buy gumballs with. |
They cut off Mega Man and put Digimon on.
im not sure how long Mega man was on but i watched it for like a year then it got cut off. ~Richter |

The idiocy of these people was amazing. I suppose that's what made the show so funny! They shouldn't have stopped making new episodes just cuz Knoxville left. I mean, just Bam and his crew could do WAY better! Other than that I don't really watch TV. I only really use my TV for watching skating videos and a select few shows. |

Ugh, I have the grave misfortune of remembering that cartoon. It filled me with warm, nostalgic feelings for Highlander 2. That's just how bad it was.

As I recall, VR5 was also in the slot-o'-death, Friday 8 PM EST. That more than anything else is probably what killed it.
