and some sort of rocket booster to solve the pendulum problem

The pendulum problem isn't as extreme as it's cracked up to be. If the rope/web line won't stretch, you'll reach somewhere near 80 km/h near the bottom of the pendulum swing. Terminal velocity for freefall is somewhere near 170 km/h.

What the REAL problem would be would be ripping your arms off (or cutting off whatever extremity is surrounded by the rope/web) from the inertial force. Obviously, Spiderman has that part licked if he can lift 10 tons, but you don't since you can't. ;-)

[edit] Awkward sentence. I'll rewrite it: "The real problem would be ripping your arms off (or cutting off whatever extremity is surrounded by the rope/web) from the inertial force."

But I can...hmmm looks like I need supplies!

I don't see any problem there. The swinger has the force of gravity acting on him or her, and the force being exerted by the swing line, which at the bottom of the swing is exactly enough to counter the force of gravity. If you can lift your own weight, you'd have no trouble at all with an uninterupted swing. The only problem would be if you encounter a force that decelerates you suddenly, like the wall of the building you are swinging on or the ground.

So nobody went here?

PS - I noticed a few of those mistakes in spiderman :)

I don't believe most of those "errors", I think Sam Raimi has too much respect for his craf... ah, heck, I can't get that out with a straight face.

I think the one that I first noticed was the one about Osbourne escaping out of the restraints.

The one I most liked was the panties one...*drools*
