You don't have to be attracted to someone in order to have sex with them. Thousands of heterosexual people have sex with people they aren't remotely attracted to, but have financial and societal ties to, plus they feel obligated to produce offspring.

Reproduction is a biological matter that has absolutely nothing to do with attraction, except that attraction makes it more likely to happen.

As far as how the kid would grow up... a kid raised by one or two loving, supporting, and intelligent parents will turn out much better than a kid raised by any number of distant, abusive, and/or ignorant parents, regardless of the gender and exact relationship among said parents.
