Comparatively few men wear makeup, heterosexual or not. Suppose a quiz asked you if you had six fingers on your left hand... another trait few men have. Would you answer, "Being a heterosexual male, that's highly unlikely?"

Point taken... Again, you're right...

But I suppose I should say that my own definition of being a heterosexual man includes not wearing makeup (at least not recreationally... the same movie/TV exceptions apply)... Any guy I see wearing makeup or crossdressing in any way I see as being homosexual... Whether they admit it or not... Even if said person seems as heterosexual as they possibly can in every other way... The simple fact that they're not fitting into my definition of a "normal" heterosexual makes me feel that they are not heterosexual... Based on my own personal definition of heterosexual, I'd never wear makeup or put on women's clothing... I have no desire to and cannot understand that any heterosexual male would want to... Therefore, any one that does is homosexual in my eyes...

Yes, that is a possible shortcoming on my part and is quite a bit of closed mindedness... But that's the way I see things...and I'm not able to change that just because I know that I'm being closed minded...

Only if you start by defining "crossdresser" as a homosexual trait. "How could he not be gay, he's wearing makeup?" I'm not going to sit here and argue with you, if you want to reason by stereotype... this all just goes back to the idea that sexual orientation and gender identity are somehow tied up... that gay men are gay because they want to be women and lesbians are lesbians because we want to be men. People, both heterosexual and homosexual, run the full spectrum from masculinity and femininity... if effeminate gay men and butch lesbians seem to be more visible, it's because you're trained to see effeminacy or butchness as signs that a man or woman is gay, respectively.

See above... I do define crossdessing as a homosexual trait... Or at least something that is not a heterosexual one... Therefore, the only other option is for it to be a homosexual trait...

I see it like the definition of a square... All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares...

All crossdressers are homosexual, but not all homsexuals are crossdressers...

That's just the way I see it... I may be wrong, but like I said, I'm not changing in that opinion...
