Well, good news, I'm leaving to Great Britian tomarrow in the morning. I can't wait to get there. Hard part is finding something to do on the 11 hour flight. Any suggestions or comments?
eat some peanuts(yumm)
Hooters 2002 Calender and some privacy.
Grab the Blue Book and snuggle up to it! :) Or take a Laptop and write a game, perhaps find a book on something you want to learn and read that. Or you can just veggie and get a GameBoy.

I suggest getting one of those foreign-language tapes and listening to that so that you don't have to walk around with a translation book stuck in your face.

Alternatively, you could skip trying to pass yourself off for British and simply settle for passing yourself off as non-American; if you train yourself to say "aboot" and end sentences with a rising "eh?", the locals might think you're Canadian (spending a few hours on the plane memorizing hockey trivia wouldn't hurt, either) and thus may be a bit more civil.
