No one's jumping on you for encouraging him to calm down. Now you're just twisting words. Like I said, if I think someone is wrong, I say so, and that's called discussion. You said you think that three or so people run the forums, I said I think you're wrong. Discussion. Does you stating your opinion preclude me from stating mine? I wasn't aware that the first amendment had a pre-emptive strike clause.

Of course my comments were directed towards you... I was replying to what you said. This is what a reply is: a comment directed towards someone in response to something they had said. It was your comment I was disagreeing with... should I have said, "Someone here has suggested that perhaps 3 people are running the forums", or perhaps, "I hold in my hand a list of known people that think 3 oldbies are running BYOND?" You said something, I replied. Again, you're not quite grasping the mechanics of a discussion here.

Already read it. You say you're done with the thread, but look, here's another response. If you're dropping it, drop it. Just don't expect to get much credit for doing so... they don't hand out medals for stopping fires you start yourself.

Of course Spuzzum hasn't shown any intelligence. I mean, it can't be smart to put out a great and complete argument. You need to attack only one of his points out of all of them, usually one of the least significant.
And of course his grammar has nothing to do with it. If he hasn't shown any signs of intelligence, how is he typing intelligently? Maybe he's getting his parents to type for him. Of course, if he has no intelligence, his parents wouldn't have any either. No question about it, he has to be dumb. Anyone who has created many successful BYOND libraries just has to be a moron. The only way to be smart is to steal code from others. This isn't sucking up, by the way. I could replace Spuzzum about 15 other people, and all of this would be true. And I would, if this were not Spuzzum we were talking about. By the way, if you don't care about this, then you shouldn't even be posting at all. You must obviously care because you are posting. | |
