Reasons why Dragonball sucks:
1. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
2. They sit on the battlefield staring at each other, and if one screams (as shown above), the other stands there and watches.
3. Ok, what the HELL is Cell supposed to look like? A green man-sized penguin or something?
4. Nobody sweats like that.
5. After watching it long enough, the phrase "Super Saiyan [your name here]" gets permanently imbedded in your mind, and you believe that for the next 3 years of your life.
6. Why do they have levels of Super Saiyan? I would think you could go Hyper Saiyan, or Ultra Saiyan, or Mega-Ki-Master-of-Doom Saiyan.
7. They don't even import the pr0n.
Reasons why Dragonball rocks:

rather then a fact, that is an opinion.
I like Dragon Ball, and a little DBZ as much as most animes. Yes i admit it, I am an anime fan, but dont let that change your opinions toward me based on my likes/dislikes. But as a fan, i wish to correct you wherever i may. Dragonball started out with a little boy *Son Gokou*, who was trained by his martial artist grandfather *Son Gohan*. Until his grandfather died. Gokou isnt very book smart based on the fact that he was made to lack an education, but he grew up on nature, explaining his above-average strength. Well along comes this girl named Bulma who finds goku and tells him about DRAGONBALLS and that they can grant any wish he wants, him thinking his grandfather's soul was placed in his dragonball, he follows and decides to help as he is a good, yet clueless, child. Bla Bla, he quests alott, gets trained, fights many battles, now comes DBZ, about 10 years later. In DBZ this is exactly what happens, it is all linked. 1)Evil saiyan brother from outerspace kidnaps gokou's son 2)They Kill evil saiyan 3)Evil saiyan has a transmitter that tells other evil saiyans about dragonballs 4)They Train 5)Two evil saiyans come and fight 6)They get beaten up and leave, after killing 3-4 earth friends of gokou's. 7)They go to namek to wish them back, as the source of the wishes on earth is dead See everything is linked. now for the "POWERS" and "RAGING". Dragonball/Z was based on the ancient animist koreans' beliefs that spirits in nature can interact with the spirits in other living things, also known as the CHI CYCLE. Weather this is true or not, no one really knows, as their are as many disproofs as proofs. Well, with chi they believe that these spirits can interact and be used with the powers of one's being, or over power. aka. KI,Mana,God,Lifestream,etc.. With this, they say that you can restore the sick, place curses on opponents, even form it into a HADO, which can take many forms. Even elements, and energy, all usually in ball form. As for the screaming, Ive noticed that when me, or anyone else i lift weights with, if it feels too heavy, we end up letting out a deep kind of scream, which actually seems to help. --NEO |

ok Pol, your my friend and all but, dont post about DBZ anymore, cause nobody wants to hear it, theres lots of topics wit hDBZ sucks man, jsut dont bother, its gonna cause problems

Reasons why it's good:
1. It has a long storyline 2. Interesting fight scenes 3. Easy to understand; easier for younger kids to understand 4. Original Reasons why it's bad: 1. Attracts too many little kids; therefore brainwashes them into acting like what they see on television. 2. The earlier episodes are great; once they get into Super Saiyan, it turns awful. 3. Bad compared to other animés Eh, thats how I feel atleast. |

Okay, for anyone who wonders what I mean when I say there's a difference between making something ripped off from or inspired by... here's a perfect example of the difference. Dragonball... inspired by Asian mythology. Dragonball = original creation. DragonballZ Fight For Excellent Power v2.3 com'n fite wiv ur favrit chars from the show all new icons best Zeta rip eva!... stolen from Dragonball. != NOT an original creation. |

DBZ was in Japanese, but the work it was based on was in a form of Chinese.
I apologize for bringing up such a thread, but if anyone wants a history lesson, I just found a site on the subject: http://www.chinapage.com/monkey/monkey.html |
