am i missing somethin, has there ever been a BYONDfest?? i joined last year and i have never heard of it. of course this was a survey on digitalBYOND (whoo hooo TX is winning). Anyway i just wanted to know if BYONDfest was a real event.

I'd love a BYONDfest (assuming I had the money to attend)! We could have it at a hotel in a city with lots to do. There would be a keynote speech by Tom and Dan, about the past, present and future of BYOND, there would be scheduled events such as the Talent Show, Dunk Tank, Real-Life MLAAS, presentations by gurus on game design, and a big dinner at the end. In the meantime we could hang out and explore the city. There would also be T-shirts and Blue Books to buy. Aren't I a good convention planner?

Heh, that would be pretty tight to have a byond fest. Plus+ the poll shows Texas which goes thumbs up with me. But why did Boston(I forgot the other city) get pointed out on the poll? I mean, if you want to point out a large city, why not Houston in Texas, I mean its one of the largest cities. Oh yea, its where I live too :P(wiggly toungue).

It certainly is a real event that is being planned for the future, when it would be held I don't know... We've been talking about it in the General Forum... (look for BYONDcamp and BYONDfest)
