Life's a beach (Mature content inside)

Cheryl and I spent the day at the beach today. When we got there, there were no parking spots. We drove around, trying to look casual while desperately seeking a parking space. Whenever a car left, there would be a swarm of cars trying to take the newly vacant spot. After failing to get a spot a few times, I wised up and parked in the "No Parking" area. We headed down to to the beach area and simply waited for somebody to leave. When they did, I asked them to hold the spot for me and they did.

So I got my parking spot fair and square, right? Well, some lady who was also trying to find a spot started yelling at me. She tried to throw a guilt trip on me. The conversation basically went like this:

Lady: "I have 3 kids! We've been waiting for this spot to open up for 20 minutes!"
Me: "Me too!"
Lady: "You have kids?"
Me: "No, I've been waiting for a parking spot."
3rd party who let me in their parking spot: "Well we moved for him."
Lady: "I can't believe this, we have 3 kids"
Me: "Look lady, do what I did. Park over there [pointing at no parking area] and head down to the beach. Wait for somebody to leave and ask them to hold their spot for you."
Lady's Husband: "Come on, let's just go."

About 15 minutes later they were sitting next to us on the beach and complaining about how much of a jerk I was. Some people, sheesh.

So anyway, I got ahold of my girl friend's camera while we were there. Here are some pictures.

Don't you just love how people can use their kids as an excuse? Like this guy at work goes home an hour early every day because he has kids. His kids are older than a lot of the users here, and its not like other people don't have kids of their own, they just find baby sitters, or leave them to their own devices until they get home. But, I digress....

Cheryl is a hottie, but that goes without saying. Anyone who rocks as much as Ebon deserves a hottie or two. ;)

Yeah, I hate it when people do that. Especially since I come from a family of 6 kids. I don't need to hear about how some lady was having a hard time with 3.

5 kids in this family, luckily the oldest 2 have moved out and had kids of their own, one of thems even married!
Anyway, it sucks that someone will start yelling at you just because you found a parking spot. If someone hates having trouble findng a parking spot, they should just walk everywhere.
For some things, that excuse could have worked, but not because they want to get into the beach.

I love how some people think you owe them something because they had kids. It's not like you got any part of the action, right? =P
