How about one of those bombs that, instead of battering your body with explosive force, simply knocks you silly?
(Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that 99% of people who make FPS mods seem to think that "concussion grenade" means a grenade that gives you a concussion?) | |

No thats called a flash bang, its used by swat teams and such, the sound can burst your eardrums and yes it can make you go blind for a period of time. Concussion Grenage is simply a grenade that explodes(there might be more to it than that buts thats a basic explanation). | |

I don't think so, but I think the term might overlap. The essential feature of a concussion grenade is that it's designed to explode without fragmentation and avoid shrapnel (military-grade grenades typically are fragmentation grenades and spray quite a bit of shrapnel, being as they're designed to kill people), but that's the extent of my knowledge on the subject. I suppose, since my understanding of flash grenades are that they would be designed to incapacitate rather than kill, that they would not throw much shrapnel either, but then I'd also imagine that flash grenades don't use anywhere near the same sort of explosive mechanism as either standard fragmentation or concussion grenades at all, so the term wouldn't necessarily apply. Unless you're talking about a certain mod in particular. My insomnia-addled brain seems to recall nomenclature along those lines in Counter-Strike. | |
How about instructions on making differant home made bombs which some arn't the usual ones that just explode?
