Ok, calm down everyone. Let's remember some key points.
1.BYOND is for GAMES.
2.What is the point of spamming the forums?
3.Why cuss on the fourms?
4.Why mess up the forums with stuff other then game talk.
5.If you are going to insult another game, just keep your opinion to yourself
Well, with some basic points, let's all agree to keep BYOND a better place, not ony in the forums, but also in the games. This senseless anger, and cussing gets to me, so let's just have fun and remember that it's just a game.

Gotta go with Dantae on this one - I just did a back check on posts done by him: other than the goofy series of posts relating to a bird and a cadillac (that lead nowhere, ,but no harm done), his behavior has been better than mine!

Lucas Gates has previously posted that he goes by several other keys, including Dantae, Jango Fett, and Captain Murphy. This was never disputed by any of them before now. I admit it's certainly possible for Lucas Gates to have falsified that statement, but given the timing of Dantae's post and a need to escape the crushing weight of the damage the other persona has inflicted upon itself, I'd say it's more likely that this is just a desperate ploy to distance himself from a persona he accidentally torched. I've seen it happen too often before. I'll keep an open mind on this, though I stand by my statement that the lecture attitude of his post was still ill-advised. Lummox JR | |

If my theory is right, you have control of both keys, so making a post to disavow the earlier connection would be easy. Convenient, even. Given that this connection was in a post apologizing for earlier behavior on the forums, in which you basically just listed your other keys for the record (no one doubted the Jango Fett connection because of a previous flamewar), what would be your motive for listing anyone else's key at all--whether you liked them or not? There's no possible motive for lying about it in that context. If you're lying this time but weren't when you made the initial statement, as I believe, then you should know that people don't take these name games kindly. If you screwed up, fine, admit to it and resolve to do better next time; don't resurrect an alias lecturing others to do better. You're the one who insulted other games and cussed (as Lucas Gates), Dantae, so this comes off more than a little bit hypocritical. It would have been better to say that you personally resolve not to do these things in the future, without lecturing other people on it. The one most in need of that lecutre at this particular moment happens to be you.
