I am really bored.and thought hearing other peoples storys of ghosts/aliens or what they think about ghosts/aliens and stuff would be fun..Anyone?

My theory is that Aliens do exist Just our senses are different then theres so they may have landed on earth and maybe not able to see us and us not able to see them so they think this planet is uninhabited and maybe the same thing happens to us when we go to other planets think about it =)

well when you think about it, most life on earth doesn't even have a central nervous system, not to mention 5 senses, so who's to say an alien life form would? That's kinda like saying they would breath oxygen and eat beef, I just don't think that will happen.

True, an alien lifeform would almost undoubtedly have different senses than humans. But they'd still be made of matter, and they'd almost assuredly have to be near-human sized (at least).... meaning we would have to be able to see them. Whether they could see us or not is a different story, but we could definately see them.

Ghosts:
I definately do not believe in them. Not only is there no logical reason for them to exist, there has been no scientific evidence of ghosts ever found. Perhaps there are ghosts that we are incapable of sensing in any way, but if that's so then there's also an invisible and indetectable lion right behind you. Aliens: I believe extraterrestrial life is almost a certainty given the size of the universe and the immense range of conditions life has been able to be sustained in just here on Earth. I highly doubt any such aliens are visiting us now, or have at any time in the past, for a couple of reasons: the intelligence and technology required to travel across galaxies is incredible and it is doubtful many civilizations would develop it; and any civilization that intelligent wouldn't travel all this way to hide from us and mess with the minds (and rectums) of people with questionable beliefs. -AbyssDragon | |

I do not believe in ghosts...as that would imply that we have spirits, which would in turn imply an afterlife, which would in turn imply religious beliefs...and since I consider myself to be an atheist, that doesn't agree with my beliefs... (or lack thereof)
I also do not believe in anything I'd classify as "supernatural"... Things like magic, telepathy, etc... I do however, believe wholeheaterdly in aliens... Not necessarily the little green or gray men that come here in flying saucers to abduct hillbillies... But I do believe that there simply HAS to be other intelligent life in the universe... Simple probability practically solidifies it...lol To clarify...I don't consider aliens to be "supernatural"... I'd just call them "natural"... | |

I believe on Ghosts, not realy Aliens. I believe in ghosts from past experiences. My Aunties house was built on a grave-yard, i spent the night there one night and got clubbed in the head while watching tv. "The remote was right beside me and all of a sudden clubbed me" There is also weird noises in the Atic, wake up in the morning only to find things moved around. I tell you this, i havnt bean there since i got wacked in the head.

That's merely an adaptation to earth's gravity. We may NOT be able to see them. As we are generally made up of carbon, why could they not, under their own circumstances, be made of Oxygen? Or Chlorine? Or for that matter, how do know some "lifeform" doesn't exist on our own Sun, in the form of plasma? This is paradigm. Until we know, which I doubt, we could never possible guess what aliens look like. Unless the Nibiru theory is correct. Look it up, very interesting. | |

It is almost inconceivable that they could be made entirely of gas (or even worse, plasma)... it simply has too much entropy. Information would be lost too quickly. This is paradigm.
