all rap is crap... well, black suits comin wasn't bad, but I can't stand rap, Rap-rock, maybe, as long as it has SOME lyrics, and not all rap.
pApA rOaCh RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can't get enough of Legacy... |
not sure... I don't particularly hate it or like it (I'm a die-hard RUSH fan actually) - but on rare occasions there is the one song that sounds half decent - heck even Eminem turns out something good in rare moments, and he can be understood too!
|
yeah, eminem wouldn't be so bad if he SHUT HIS D**N MOUTH BETWEEN SONGS!
I swear, two people in the music buisness that can never shut their mouths and always wind up in trouble: Fred Durst Slim of course these two are both white (semi on fred's part) rappers, and of course both piss me off... Sometimes I think stupid people who talk a lot should have their vocal chords removed at a young age... or an anal electrode inserted so that whenever they even think about saying something they get a good shocking! |
Ok, you have no right to say the music sucks, you have a right to not like it, but you can't say it sucks just becuase you dont like it, it's your personal opinion, and as we all know an opinion is not fact.

In general I don't care for rap, either, but there are notable exceptions. For example, the movie "Office Space" uses it very effectively. Let's see... offhand, I also enjoy "Bust a Move", "Gangsta's Paradise", and the less-well-known "Letter to the Future" by Heavy D and the Boyz. But as I said, as a genre I don't care for it much. |

I have to ask this question because I cannot find the logic in it: Why do people like rap? The people I know like the music because of the bass and rowdy lyrics in gangsta rap. Note that most of these people have systems in their automobiles. Note that most of these people are most likely to be found in a mall parking lot with their gain up, not to mention their ego. How come I don't get the same ego boost while blasting Germanic industrial, I will never know. |
The best rap artist is Enrique Iglesias.

I have to say that as a rap artist, Will Smith is one hell of a comedic actor. *snicker* Honestly, that's what made his rap so great. He can actually entertain. (I don't think he does enough rap comedy anymore though.) Now that gangsta rap derivatives are played constantly, people act like he's the one who sold out. The fad changed, not him. When current artists can actually battle like Roxanne vs UTFO as opposed to shooting people and cheating... |
