Well, if she is one of those banging types, then he could have pulled it smooth saying, "Hope you like kinky sex!"(If saying that is smooth at all....) Or she could find anime character attractive....

I see no reason to attack this person in the way some of you are doing just because of his love for DBZ. I too agree he did over do it, but thats just him expressing himself. And I have seen much worse, if you would let someone express theirself to the point that they have purple hair, then purple contacts to match it... then the DBZ thing should be the same (as much of an obsession as it may be).

:-) I'm glad I made sense

I would still be collecting Wrestling Action Figures, but today's wrestling makes me sick.

Besides, there's nothing worse than having an action figure saying-
"You - cannot - defeat the - walls - of - - Jericho"

(I'd be happy if I had a collection like that, SuperSaiyanGokuX 0.0)

Lol.

Actually, she's never seemed to mind... In fact, she often buys me DBZ stuff for gift-giving occasions (birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, etc)...

And I've also been with her longer than I've even known what DBZ was...lol So she came first, and had to watch this happen...lol

But again, she doesn't seem to care... Outside of the casual "you're crazy" with her eyes rolling when I buy something new... Especially the really expensive stuff (I've got a couple of things in here that are worth at least $300)

Whoa there... I'm far from being a "guru"...

I don't even consider myself to be all that well known around here yet... And I'm especially not well versed in DM coding to be called a "guru"...

But thanks for the compliment...lol

Ha!

I find it highly entertaining that Lummox's only response to this entire thread comes from objecting to someone calling me a "guru"...lol
IOm sorry but think of the money spent on that stuff.Yes I to am a great dbz fan(more fo japaneese ones though).I buy some of the toys, buy tons of episodes, bought every movie to come to america, and i like to use my imagination sometime and play it in the pool(its fun kickin ppl in the head=p),but all in all there must be a few hundred if not thousand dollars in that room of dbz.

Yes its scarry. But i want that on his door.

bye bye all.Going to look at my life....and watch dbz=p
After looking at that room, Ive found that it is not scary, nor an obsession, but more of a mono-focused orginization of one's living quarters based on something that shall take very large quantities of time to bore them.

The setup and imagination (let alone money) put into this room is a mix of insanity and genius. I would love to have a room this big, organized, and even based on one theme, But instead I have semi-bare walls with a plain bedspread and clothes scattered on the floor.. there is my organization for you. Dragonball is one of my favorite animes, but like everything else, People kill it's reputation. I am still pondering this..

If one person makes a game that really has nothing to do with the series other then names and cheesy relations, then is copied and reproduced multiple times over... How does it ruin the reputation of the real thing?

I know at least 3 well known "DBZ-BASHERS" who are actually fairly interested and familiar with the entire series, even one of them has taken time to make a game based on it, very Fascinating.

But back to your room, I think you should keep to it and submit it to the DBZ official website, who knows, you may even recieve something for your interests.

And I admit I'm one of them.
thats what he wants his room to look like good for him...im actually impressed with his collection maybe one day ill paint my room with mountain dew cans...

Thanks for the kind words...

One thing I think is funny about the comments I receive on my collection is that a lot of people think my room is huge...

It's actually only about 10'x12' (if that)... And I'm nearly out of useable room (I've even got posters on the ceiling...lol)

In fact, there are still piles of stuff lying around that I just haven't made room to put up anywhere...lol

As for sending it into the official site, I've been waiting for some sort of contest to come up regarding DBZ collections... I'd be a shoe-in...lol But I'm not too sure I'd win too many people over at FUNi... I don't really have much FUNi merch... Only a few tapes and a couple of DVDs...

I've got tons of Irwin figures...and a bunch of other licensed stuff... But I haven't given much of my money to FUNi themselves...lol They might look negatively on that...lol
