Hmm..Perhaps you could add a health and thirst variables which decreases every day. That would make a great addition to Survival. More challenging, but unfortunately cliche. If you add the stats I also suggest you remove most of the food on the ground and the ones you find are hidden and you must either decide to get the seeds from it and plant them or eat it. And when you planted the seeds it would take a few days for them to grow, As any logical plant/food/ would, then a verb would be added to the food that would allow you to pick them. Also, it would also have a chance of dying. If you already have those variables. Try adding my farming idea.
