In Visual Basic i'm making a program called BYOND Gaming. It has information about BYOND's past, BYOND's creators and BYOND games.
If you would like your game added please write some information up about it, so i can add it =)

DBZ Saga:
Unlike all the rips,This game is totaly original. All the coding is being done by Elangler. The only thing that is not original is a few icons. This is a game where you play out the role as Goku. You go from the saiyan saga to the buu saga.

Maybe if you subtract the rip stuff. People that have not yet even seen BYOND will be seeing this as well. I doute they will even bother coming if they know there is rips.
Refrase that and your in.

Unlike all the rips,This game is totaly original.

Ha! Go to the BYOND Search at the top of this forum and write in, "DBZ totally original". And for a wider glimpse, write in "DBZ original". Trust me, you're not the first one to say that.
Why? BYOND 100 does things like that already...you put up your game, details, and "Wallah"! Sheesh, if its not one kind of rip, its another.

It's nothing like BYOND 100. You don't vote in this, this does not go on a web page, this is a program. Sheesh, why must you be so stubbern?

This Dragon Ball Z game will be done with all good intentions for your own entertainment. I will add my own bits and pieces of ideas to make it be fun and raise onto the scale of originality(Even if it is a fan-game), so I hope you can enjoy the world of Dragonal Ball Z through my eyes, have fun! Wallah, theres you a description, that is if this is what you are planning on doing.

Why a program? This sounds to me like all it's doing is presenting information, which would be more appropriate to a Web site. Is there something in particular the program does?

It's a rule that only me and Vortezz can say "Wallah".

Watch out, I said that exact same thing and got ragged on RaeKwoniates.

You do have a point there, insofar as no dbz game can be original considering what its based on. But what they mean when they say original is that the coding is theirs, not ripped or stolen, and the icons are fairly good and or new.

I've been working on a new dbz game the past month or so, its "original" in the fact that all the coding is done by me, and I have an icon artist that makes my icons. Nothing is ripped from other byond dbz games.

Coding doesn't make a game original, concept makes it original. If I coded my own version of Tetris, would it be an original? No! It would be a version of Tetris that I made. Likewise, all custom coded DBZ games are not original any more than my Tetris game would be. It's concept that makes the game original, not who made it.

Rules are made to be broken, so Wallah!

I ain't good at web-pages to begin with. I'm learning visual basic and want my first program to be about BYOND.

As for you, sariat, didn't Lesbian Assassin tell you not to rag on my posts. Do not call me a Raekwonanite or whatever you call it.

I'm not ragging on anything. I'm just telling "da truth", Straight up.

I think that's a fine idea. It's kind of like using Microsoft Paint to make a presentation on ZBrush or Paint Shop Pro. :)

But seriously, it's good that you're learning VB. I don't have a real high regard for it as a language, but it can end up being a very marketable skill, and much as I hate to admit it: where the rubber hits the road, programming is programming.

And, heck, I started my own programming with Applesoft BASIC and Commodore BASIC, both of which are only a small step above Visual Basic. :)

Cool, i find Visual Basic to be pretty cool. I had a problem with my WinSock and phoned Microsoft (i find the people there to be quiet... Moronic)
I asked how i would register WinSock, as it said it was not.
There talking about this $49.99 dollar charge to explain to me how to register it.
So i bassicaly said Look, i bought your program, and i refuse to pay another 49.99 because you wont explain to me how to fix a problem im having.
So she finnaly ended up telling me how. Once done that it worked fine (only took about 2 minuets as well)
And i made my first chat-program useing Winsock! =)

Actually it's usually the people making the fan game who get mad at everyone who comments that it has been done too many times before. If there were a thousand Tetris games on the hub, yes, I'd get annoyed when someone announced that "I'm making a totally original Tetris game!"

And for the record, yes, there are about a thousand DBZ games listed on the hub.
