I know that you need to learn the DM language to get started in creating your game, but I'm pretty sure you need to more than just DM language. So can you guys help me out on which language should I learn.

I started with web scripting (html) before I ever got started in game development (although it wasn't far behind).

Honestly, you don't really need any experience in other languages because DM is intentionally easy to pick up and utilize. My advice is to read through the documentation and find a few libraries you are interested in playing around with and create an empty world to get familiar with everything. The easiest way to get use to reading DM is to download a functioning project and break it down into the pieces that make it work until you understand it all and can manipulate it.
Falacy has some pretty good tutorials

Having previous programming language experience does help but imo I don't think you need any.
