Copyright and copywrong - how to protect your coding from soulless bastards.
[[[Greetings comrads, I'm in studyhall and bored, so I'm gonna give some hinters to newbies and oldbies alike (mostly newbies though)]]]
1) You can't trust anyone.
You cannot trust anyone! Even your own mother! So if she asks for it, roundhouse her twice and toss her out the window. If you can't trust your mother, you can trust these soulless bastards (or as I call them: Solbis)
2) Copyright? F!#% that!
Do you think just because your game is copyrighted, it'll stop people entirely from taking your coding? F!#% that! :-P Its just proof that you made it... as far as I'm concerned, don't copyright your stuff unless you REALLY want to.
3) Psstt.. Kid.. want some candy?
Do not take bribes from people for your source. Remember, Solbi aren't people... they are the seeds of the devil :-P They could say "I'll give you 100,000 BYONDimes for your coding", and you'll never recieve it. If you do sell your coding, make sure you get the money first, and then hand it over.... or don't... its up to you :-P
4) Whut does this button do?
The world is out to get you.... run far away
If you have a source of a game, and are using it. Please dispose of it. Or else I'll have to sick the dogs on ya...

good idea i suggest we start a blacklist somewhere, like at BYONDscape with BYONDbwicki, just of these people who sell ripped codes and stuff, then we can just add them to our banned list. However lots of these people just make up keys and don't use their key they use the most

I declare that we use 'Solbis' (singular) or 'Solbi' (plural) as a offical word on BYOND! Remember, the creep down the street "Dracon" made it :-)
