I am thinking about buying this, mainly because resident evil doesn't really scare me at all and wanted a good game that scary doesn't classify as zombies, dinosaurs, or monsters jumping out of windows at me. I also heard about the insanity effects (http://www.forumplanet.com/nintendo/eternaldarkness/ topic.asp?fid=5008&tid=721541, http://www.forumplanet.com/nintendo/eternaldarkness/ topic.asp?fid=5008&tid=706966) and it sounds good. Anyone played this and any thoughts?

played it beat it...dont play it late at night is my only warning...cause you might see that scene with her dead in a tub full of blood following a blood curdling scream...oh god that was freaky...but yes...buy it...dont think the ending sucks cause you will have to beat it on every difficulty to get the freaky ending...

I will never forget a magazine ad for a game called "Blood". A one page ad, printed on both sides. On one side, a guy in a tub of water in the center of the page, white background. The second page, same guy in the tub, but blood instead of water. Black background, words "Blood. Spill some!" printed on the page.
