Well, I've been brainstorming for about two weeks now. Trying to think of ideas for a good fantasy role playing game. So far I've come up with some decent ideas and some bad. The decent one's I've come up with are:

Make a big world, which you can interact with a lot of different things.(i.e. trees, plants, some rocks, etc.)

Make the game big on trading, collecting items for puzzle like quests, etc.

Making it so under certain conditions(there aren't too many, it would actually improve the game, or some other good reason), a group of people can build a town.

Many different classes, guilds, and clan related groups.

Possibly add polotics after a period of time.

Make it so you only really have one life, instead of coming back after you die, being able to age and die of old age, and making it to an extent hard for a character to die.

Well...I think that's about it. I actually made thoughs idea's myself. But some things I'm a little bad on is something like what kind of weapons(not something like sword, but something with a power or spell when you use it), or spells (something a little more than fire ball, or heal), or races(not just human, elf, and all the other basics), and most importantly a combat system. The old final fantasy battle screen is a little out-dated, and if you make it so you just run around and attack people, it's simply who has the fastest internet connection, and it's much more difficult to be accurate with projectiles, not to mention the sever lag problem.

I think that about raps it up, can anyone help me? I'd greatly appreciate it.
You could have just written "run-of-the-mill D&D style RPG with more interaction" and saved yourself that much typing. That is definitely not original, but there isn't a decent one on BYOND yet, so if you pull it off well, kudos to you.
