i know that its also considered bipolar.
did you know that in ontario you cant legally say retarded on an official document? it must be mental health survivor, or mental health consumer. of course, its a by-law so people would have to notice it. |

I think it's mostly that manic depression probably creates some type of super-hardheaded-ness, from what I'v seen in my family most of the men have been manic depressives and all thought they didn't need the drugs after a week of using them, I quote my father from about a year before he finally gave into manic depression, "I'm feeling fine, I don't think I need the pills anymore.". Most manic depressives think they can do good without the drugs because they feel good, but thats only while they are on the drugs to make them feel good.

i know that its also considered bipolar. The extreme instability you mentioned, though, where a person's mood can change by the minute, is not bipolar disorder. It'd be classed as something totally different. Bipolar disorder is only the type in which the full mood swing cycle from depression to extreme nervous energy and back again takes about a month. did you know that in ontario you cant legally say retarded on an official document? it must be mental health survivor, or mental health consumer. Political correctness run amuck in Canada? What are the odds? Lummox JR |
