For some reason, this vaguely reminds me of the fight against DynaBlade in Kirby All Star, which is a game I recall with very fond memories because it was the first real (i.e., non-educational) videogame I ever played.

Was definitely not expecting that... That was awesome.

FINALLY this was added. I kept myself from replying to all your posts because it RLY irked me how u had to select tile by tile. Thank you for keeping me sane.. This is looking like a much better alternative to the built in map editor. Can you release this as a library with ways to load and save maps once you're finished?
i'm not sure i understand this aright. - "how u had to select tile by tile.", but you're welcome. :D

@ps
Yes this is my way.... but i'm not great programer and i have some torribles. Actualy i try fuse my lib with save maps lib ... i don't remember whos is owner.

This is the first time you've demonstrated being able to select tiles from x1, y1 to x2,y2 coordinates, instead of choosing one tile at a time (as is shown on your previous GIFs)

Must've missed it D:! Anyways, I'm sure most developers(myself included) will be willing to help you make this more efficient if you head over to the Developer's help section and post snippets. I'm actually really looking forward to this. Mostly because it supports things the built in map editor should, but doesn't, like the 0.5x- 4x zoom levels and seeing individual layers

I was too with this group, but i waited, and waited for this updates. So i have an idea, to di it by my sefl, with some updates... :D
My 1st think was do something simular to RPG maker, with events editor etc... but now i must finish basics like saveing and loading maps, etc.
I wonder who's post will be the first in page 100
This is the longest thread I've seen on the forums in a long time, tbh.
Lets get this too 100 pages!
How about we do it with content instead of randomly spamming!
Yay!

Here's my latest endeavour, a zombie game!

Using loops and super efficient AI I can handle around 4000 mobs on the map all moving actively and seeking targets before the lag starts to really kick in.

I HIGHLY suggest you watch this on youtube. Embedding the video here makes it too small, but it's eye-catching so I'm using it.

Edit: I realize that youtube smoothed out the screen shake when it hits the walls or moves in. The gifs I posted before should show how it looks in-game better.

That was awesome... All that needs is some sound effects and some cool soundtrack and you're set. I like the little celebration at the end lol.
@Bravo1, Reminds me of Blaster Master (NES). One of my favorite NES titles...
