Finished getting all four skill slots set up and they work great! Here's a couple gifs showing swapping between skills and the pistol. (:

You're entirely too good with all fire-based art. It scares me a little. Congratulations, your pyromaniac level has increased!

Recently added a Capture the Flag event to DragonVerse Online and now finishing up the Cell Games event!
Events scheduled to take placer every hour and 15 minutes choosing from a list of events that are within the game with World Tournament having the least percent chance. |

Red Areas Represent fire and where is being hit. Blue represents the player.

I should also point out that weapons now have clips! Ammo is infinite for all weapons, but they do abide by clip sizes that will have a reload delay when it runs out.

Also are you going to have the hotslots there to switch between weapons as well :D? Id love to switch from my bazooka to my grenade launcher in a fraction of a second >:).

Weapons and skills are both used and equipped via the hotbar. You can see this being done in the above gifs! On another note I've re-implemented the shotgun, nerf'd its range, and added a heal spell. You can heal yourself or someone directly in front of you. The higher your level the more you heal per cast. EDIT! Decided to play with more dynamic fireballs - for example the Hellstorm spell no longer shoots four fireballs in straight directions. It's starting to get to the point where I can start just adding fun shit for the sake of fun shit. >:D |

Excellent, now start implementing kryptonian symbols immediately.

Here I am getting my ass kicked by a dark mage and bandits with pistols AND shotguns.
Tomorrow I will start getting secondary weapons brought over to the new format for even more chaos. (: |
I haven't quite finished this up, or gotten into all the 'pretty firing effects', hair/clothing, etc but I feel like new images of Hungers progress are long overdue so here is a gif displaying the first and most basic member of the horde and a quick example of firing bullets!
Obviously, most if not all the art may be placeholders. I'm keeping the look pretty consistent, but not focusing too much on the art right now. You may be noticing some resemblance to Skirmish in the way bullets fire, which is because after speaking to Kumorii I was pretty inspired to do something similar. Unlike Skirmish however, accuracy will be determined by your proficiency with the weapon which is gradually increased through simply using the weapon. Additionally, expect quite a wide variety of enemies in the horde within Hunger! I already have at least 4 others in mind, and a few bosses tumbling around in my head! |

I love vs Zombie hoard type games. But what I'd really like to see is some sandbox elements thrown in. Like maybe the ability to scavenge and craft things you need-sort of fallout-esque.

Hmm. Well, I'm not against the idea but doesn't that fall more so into the survival category? I was thinking it might be better to combo something like that in with actual hunger, limited access to weapons, and such likely in a slightly more 'open world' type setting.
I could probably pull all that off in an alternate server, but it could easily grow into another game. Which I would be fine with after Hunger. Edit: Hunger its self is more round based, sort of like Feed, except I'm planning other modes like campaign, possibly smarter horde in exchange for smaller horde, more diverse types of enemies, etc. |

I thought you vs thousands of zombies would be classified as survival.
I agree with the bits about hunger, weapons and such. |

Sort of, yeah. I think I know what you're referring to, and I was planning it some time ago before I got interested in doing Hunger in a more arcade round based sort of way.
Both are survival, but one focuses on less realism, more rounds/waves in an arcade like fashion, and thus focuses on a very different style of gameplay. I think what I may do is if Hungers world is received well, I could use it for another game more geared toward the somewhat small but semi open world sandbox survival. I have an entire different way to handle zombie spawning that would work well for that, weapons would be pretty scarce, free roam, etc. |
I FRACKING LOVE DAWNBRINGER32
LOOK AT IT! NO, SRSLY, LOOK AT IT! STOP LOOKING AWAY! PUT IT IN YOUR ART. DB32 IS LOVE. DB32 IS LIFE. DB32 OR GTFO. Do you see all of this? Do you know what it all means? I don't, but I'm pretty sure it's a graph of how superior DB32 is to all other combinations of 32 colors. DB32 is so superior that Germany forbid people to claim it doesn't exist. |

Hahahah. Not sure if that means I'm using it well, or you just really like that palette. Either way, it is a pretty frickin sweet color palette. Limited colors is a real challenge, but it makes it ten times easier.
