Well before it reaches the programmer I just animate particles by hand and then he does magic with scaling and animate()
We have quite a bit of particles pre made- Came up with the idea that we'd be able to achieve much more lively particle animations by combining hand drawn particles with the Animate() proc. It's just amazing how well it's working on for so little cpu overhead. |
Ah nice! And yeah animate() has done wonders for me as well. Is your glow made with animate() or do you use Photoshop to create them?

I am now here to announce that I have restored production to the SByIo Library's successor. It is still far from ready as there was no working code to begin with. My hope with this project is to bring a webclient successor to SByIo as that project has served me well and I know some actually have been wondering about the progress on it.
If all goes well, I will officially retire SByIo to put forth effort on this new project. Don't worry, I promise to bring back some of the great features from that project. In fact, I will be able to do things I was never able to do before. :D Even if this new library gets designed, I have a feeling there will be those who will study it and that is fine by me. Heck, it is a great way to advance capabilities even further. |

Oh if you want me to create nightmares I can get some spindly creepy mofo's made up for the "Depths" area of the game.

I agree with this. Enemies that make you go, "Nope! Nope! No! No! Nu-uh! NOPE!" are always the most fun.

Im liking it already. Giving us a reason to come back once we've progressed through the game/acquired cut.
Question though is there a possible area behind the professor looking house that might be a secret treasure we can only access to by being mlg and having surf :D? |

I plan on having a ton of secret areas that will allow for hours upon hours of world searching and discovery.
Just a small aspect of endgame content. |
