Webclient is shit, in my opinion. I get some people can use it fine, but I'll never touch it, personally.

Hey, guy! Why do you think the webclient is shit?

It's never works for me and when it has, it was so blurry and slow that it wasn't even worth the time. Be it my computer or DM itself, I don't really care for it. I'm both satisfied with DS and not interested in what the webclient has to offer enough to bother playing with it.

You're doing great things with it and that's awesome. But I won't develop with it or play games through it because my impression of it is just garbage. Call me shallow. Call me uninformed. I just don't care for it.

Blurry map issue and the CPU has gotten much better in recent releases.
Yeah, the FPS has gotten a whole lot better, and will continue to improve. Any issues you encounter with your project will most likely be fixed in good time if the bugs are reported, but it's important that people give this information to Lummox otherwise he can't do much of anything about it.

The main reason any developer on BYOND investing serious time into their game should want the webclient to be in tip top shape is for the exposure. Take for example Kongregate, one of many browser game portals, where any new games with a decent rating (3.5 stars or more) are featured in http://www.kongregate.com/top-rated-games?sort=newest You'll notice that the ones that have been around for less than a week have at least 30k plays minimum. As a comparison, Eternia receives around 300 unique plays a day. Uploading to Kongregate and other places is also a quick and easy process that more or less just requires you to paste the iframes url. If you want your game to be popular, you want it to play well with the webclient. There's nothing to lose, really, other than a little time.

EDIT: Also, yeah, Epoch is a great deal of fun and it's amazing to see how much it's improved in only a few weeks. For anyone that plays, make sure to run the game through DreamDeamon first because there's some FPS weirdness if you play it directly in DS. Speaking of reporting bugs, Yut...
Personally, I've never been a fan of Yut's games due to complex mechanics, but thats something I just don't find enjoyable. Strictly based on my preferences in games. That aside I am willing to try out Epoch because it is well made and it does deserve some reviews. I will post with results.

Epoch is a game that requires you to really get over a small hump before you can really enjoy it. Have fun! Stick with it!

Working on a new enemy for the Tower areas. May show up elsewhere as well. (Note: Grayscale for the sake of color matrix usage.)

Probably my most complex/animated enemy yet. I'm already an hour or so into it and I've got next to nothing done for it.

Feed:
- You guys win -- Crawlers no longer apply cause a bleedout debuff.
- Falling ammo casings now have a sound.
- Game now has lobby music and a some more fitting game music.
- Extended the molotov's range.
- Wave modifiers that change projectile types(laser madness, nyan madness) no longer apply to thrown specials.
- The red flash when taking damage is more pronounced.
- Numerous graphical tweaks.
- Added big enemy variants for Crawlers and Feeders. Not enabled because I'm unsure if I'll spawn them as bosses or as normal enemy variants.
- reloading has a sound effect now.
- There's now a hud element that tells you your clip status.
Yup, I figured that out quite soon after playing it.

Once I get the inverse of the arm drawn, I can program it so the arms properly swap when looking left/right.

So far, I'm liking it a lot.
What are the plans for his unique ability?

U.U to many restrictions to keep note of duing fast pace action and then spells and staffs running out of juice half way through a dungeon QQ.

Then we have to use the exp we use to lvl up to learn new spells :/ which means if you want to be a multi tool then you're going to be seriously underlvled Dx.

I cant even wear the bewb armor i want >:l.

THEY will be able to punch YOU to death. =D

Fixed it up a bit more lighting wise and got the arms switching properly.

I like it! Though, I'm curious -- is there a particular reason why grey seems to dominate your color palette?
