Did a bit of testing today with some cool cats. First test went pretty badly (hadn't tested all the new stuff in multiplayer yet), but after some cleanup, the second test went wonderfully!

Feed:
- The arrows that point to the last few enemies would sometimes glitch and get stuck on screen.
- Players could be hurt by their own projectiles in some instances.
- Knockback now retains the direction players are facing.
- Deaths during intermission no longer count against players and will result in auto reviving.

Today's progress also included:
- The location of the last three enemies in each wave will now be displayed on screen with arrows.
- Hellbats no longer blur when scaling.
- Finished porting over specials to the new setup.
- Fixed an issue where players would spectate other players after watching a boss death cutscene instead of themselves.
- You may now manually reload with R (HUD clip indicator inbound).
- Started working on getting the scoreboard together.
- misc. layering issues.
- Weapons now have a sighted range that will shift the camera in the player's direction when aiming/using them.

During a LMS deathmatch on wave 8, it was down to me and Ghost. I pursued and had the upper hand until Ghost starts calling in airstrikes literally everywhere.

Wave 4, maybe? Either way, someone is a team killing loser..

This gif is just a prequel to the previous one.

It was fun!

And im not a loser e.e im to mlg to lose.
I'm finally making use of the copy of volume two of Knuth's The Art of Computer Programming that I ordered from the library last semester. Gonna try and figure out Algorithm D, his algorithm for the division of two unsigned integers, and hopefully get to implementing in in pif_LongInt. After that, I should be able to implement some root extraction stuff (e.g., square roots and more general roots). They aren't extremely useful over just integers, but they certainly have their uses nonetheless. After that, it should be fairly easy to implement triple and quadruple precision objects, as well as signed integers.

Annoyingly, I also realized earlier today that my current plans on how pif_LongInt will interact with pif_BigInt (when it's eventually released) would utterly break the Liskov substitution principle, and so it is badly designed on that end. I'm gonna have to do some reworking so this is no longer an issue, while still making the two able to play nice together (for example, so you could multiply a BigInt object by a LongInt object, or add a LongInt to a BigInt, or whatever else).

The full set of that series is something I've wanted forever.

I actually do have the full set, and have read all of them several times. Not sure what editions they are, though... But they are the American versions.

Being Literally Hitler isn't that bad all things considered.
I've watched some of the movies (didnt like them). I'm hoping the books are better but i refuse to read any of the books unless they are first edition for no real reason in particular.

I mean so many people are lik eomg ET the books r so gud you should read them, and im like no >:l.
The books are definitely better than the movies, but for me, that is almost always the case.

There is hope for me yet :D.
I can second that the HP books are much better than the movies. The movies are still great, but kind of watered down compared to the books.

Hermione is old enough to be hot in the books though right...?

She starts out at ten. So yes, definitely.

That's not even legal in germany DX and germany has some seriously lax rules about age.

Yeah, although they're pretty strict on their rules about ethnicity, I hear.
In ancient Rome, as long as a girl was 12 and up she was free game and 10 is not far from age 12 so I don't see what the problem is.

If it was good enough for the Romans it's good enough for you.

So much more complicated than this.
After playing Hyper Light Drifter, I got a lot of tips and inspiration.

Updated the rain to use a "pixel splash" rather than just the little drip effect I had. I'll save that for slow falling/dripping water.

New wildlife/enemy!

Dubbed the "Luxgar" closely resembles a creature from the robot's homeworld.

Fish out of water! D=
Why are you making a WALL-E fan-game?
