Lately I've just been tidying up personal libraries and began compiling them into a standard library which I'll be releasing sometimes this coming year. Tonight I created a very efficient and flexible sidescroller engine in BYOND with capabilities of popular movement styles as well as realism, utilizing accurate equations based on the same physics as our world. It seems like a bit much for a simple sidescroller, I know, but I've got not enough better to be doing. So I'll likely release a sidescroller library using my keyboard library in a couple weeks.

![]() Haven't worked on the game in a while with all the parties and celebration. Here's a very simple hidden path thing... This uses Turfs currently. I might use areas instead, so the whole thing fades all at once. Not sure. |
Got a basic card framework going. Used Solitaire as a "simple" test bed to build up various things. You can't see all the bells and whistles in the Solitaire game but all the simple stuff is done like player controlled zoom, rotation, card animations, variable deck graphics, sizes, counts, and etc.
Solitaire ![]() The game is hosted although there is no player interaction outside of chat. If you find any bugs, please report them. There is one difficult to repro drag/drop bug that someone came across but I haven't been able to repro it yet. Not sure what I'll do next. Could go after some basic poker games to refactor the existing framework or go after some other features to increase support for trading card games. |
