Jotdaniel	I need to update windows installer to version 2.0, the only thing is it wont let me becuase i have v1.1 installed and I cant uninstall it. I look for the files named after it and I find nothing, I look for it under add/remove programs and its not there. Can anyone help me with this?

Windows Installer version 2.0 is contained in Microsoft Windows .NET Server family and Windows XP. The Instmsi.exe file is the redistributable package for installing or upgrading to Windows Installer version 2.0 on earlier operating systems.

This technology is available as a redistributable for Windows Installer version 2.0, from the SDK Update site. Two packages are available at this site. One package should only be used to install or upgrade to Windows Installer version 2.0 on Windows ME, Windows 98 and Windows 95. The other package should only be used to install or upgrade to Windows Installer version 2.0 on Windows 2000 and Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 6. These should not be used to install or upgrade Windows Installer version 2.0 on Windows .NET Server family and Windows XP .
