Does any one now how to get a good looking webpage started without using stuff like tripod or any of the other ones?

Well, graphics, layout and color theme all come into mind here.
That is really all you need, besides the knowledge of HTML if you want to do it by-hand to make a decently looking webpage. Take mine for example; Wonderful graphics because of Foomer, wonderful layout which Foomer ordered and the color theme is also pretty good. All HTML done by me, besides the HTML done in the layout as to how Foomer had the images. --Lee |

Well Dreamweaver MX by macromedia is quite a good option, my dad bought it ad thewhole studio mx thing. stupidly expensive, but worth it.
its easy to use, and not too much trouble to learn either. |

I dont buy anything from macromedia, i just download there 30 day trials and magicly have the forever ;)
