Go, Dan, go Tom! Way to go! You likely created the best damn game network there is.
[EDIT] I took the time to rewrite the Topic a bit. =p |

Much brown-nosing, but it's for a good cause.
Thank you, Dan. You sacrifice alot for us, and for those who have yet to discover the wonders of BYOND. Thank you, Tom. Your work on the website and core programming of BYOND is always appreciated. Thank you all those in the dark who help Dantom that we never see. Thank you, AirMapster. Your BYOND banners are always top-notch. Thank you, Deadron. Bwicki was a great idea! Thank you, Gughunter. BYONDscape has set a standard for BYOND fan sites. Thank you, digitalmouse. digitalBYOND is a great site, and your new hosting service is much-needed here. Thank you, gurus, midbies, oldbies and newbies. No matter what your level, you bring fresh ideas and insights to BYOND. Without you, there would be little to keep us going. Thank you to all who have created demos, libraries and code snippets that help the new arrivals to BYOND grasp the concepts and furthur our programming experiences. I can't possibly name you all, you know who you are. Thank you, Nadrew. Your efforts on BYOND are great, and you're always there for me. Thank you, all! ~X (now I must go wash my nose...) |

I must agree, Dantom did a wonderfull job on this system, and have lost some money though. As Tom once said, "It's cause were to stubbern to give up on te project" Or something like that.
They did a wonderfull job with BYOND, and I think everyone should thank them for there hard work. RaeKwon |

Speaking of which, shouldn't we have like a day for BYOND's Birthday? I mean Dan and Tom could even make a Birthday banner for the site and all that.

Well, technically, BYOND hasn't even been born yet. It's still maturing in the womb. I could see having a special day set aside for the anniversary of BYOND going public, but that hasn't happened yet. If such a day were ever to be set, Dan and Tom should get a full week's vacation for it. Not to mention lots of really killer presents. ($$$)

I must agree with ZLegend that this is one of the best gaming networks ive seen! It was a very bright idea for him to bring up this topic, and special thanks from me are in order. All the people are very helpful in the forums and that friendly atmosphere is because everyone has their little (or big) bit o' thanks. So, *ahem* thank you ZLegend for bringing out the feeling of thanks to everyone in BYOND.
I'm sure Dan and Tom are both very proud of their work and of all of us. Thank You so much for giving us BYOND! |

Ya thanks, im sure they get there money from taking our dimes and putting them in stock or bonds, not to much money, but it would add up. Or maybie they just have a jar, and are working on a top secrit project on item duplication, and now are filthy rich off our dimes. Anywho, thanks Dan and Tom. Which reminds me, why dont we see much of dan ever? Maybie Tom killed him and he just doesnt wont the world to know, so he said he is working on BYOND with him... Ok enough with my crazy stuff. You have done us all a great favor by making BYOND. It helps release stress. Nothing like sitting on a computer, stairing at the same line of code for 6 hours saying "Maybie this will fix it" and "Ill get off as soon as im done".

(and this from a guy who used to contribute some of that 's&%$') =P
Actually, Dan and Tom have been vastly under-appreciated over the years, especially from the game-players. Good to see someone taking a moment to acknowledge the founders of this great system.
Thanks, Dan and Tom!
