if you have the latest MSN, i have a working camera and headset. I can prove to you that I am indeed 21. Question is, do you want to see the proof?

I recall placing 21 in, but i typo alot when typing fast.

When I type my dominant fingers are my middle left finger, my left index finger, and my right index finger. I barely use any others.

I am literally the fastest chicken pecker in the world. (that didnt sound right)

An image from a webcam cannot prove that you are of a certain age...

Some form of government issued ID, would, though... And this is why people get "carded" when buying alcohol and cigarettes... Some people just don't look their age... Some look much older, some younger...and the ID is needed to prove their actual age...

it wouldnt be a still image

Neither is what a store clerk sees when he's looking across the counter at the person trying to buy some beer from him... The customer may look 21 or older, but may in fact be only 17... Thus, the clerk needs to check the customer's ID to verify that they are indeed of legal age to purchase alcohol...

And the inverse is also possible... A customer may only look 17 but in fact may be over 21 years of age... The ID then is also used to prove this...

In another example: My girlfriend is only 6 months younger than I am... Yet, most people who meet her ask me later how old she is...because they think she is much younger than I am... If you didn't know better, she could easily be confused for being 15 or 16... However, she is 21...

So even in real life (or on a webcam) how a person looks is definitely not enough to prove their age...

Well, I hate to keep doing this, but in Dareb's defense,
both the 1 and the 6 are adjacent to the 2 on the numpad (1
directly, 6 diagonally)...

Lummox - 26 from 21 is quite easy to do, in fact. As many, many people would atest I am known for misspelling when I start typing really fast. More often than not I am guilty of hitting two buttons together while typing, not pressing a key completely down to make it register on screen.

On a keypad it is harder to accomplish this, since most people use only one or two fingers in that area, but still plausible...let's see: 322 21 52 226 ... all done by hitting the edges of the two key, And my keyboard has them spaced quite far apart. I have this trouble often with laptop keyboards, and other styles with the keys close together.

So while it is not likely, it is possible.

I simply meant that ill talk to you for a moment and then hang up. Im not made of money you know.

So basically you want to rant to your heart's content and then be sure to get the last word? Gee, there's a conversation to look forward to.

And as far as long distance is involved its not worth any amount of money to call someone up just to insult or threaten them.

I didn't say you'd be threatening; I said you'd be harassing.

It would be a talk OUTSIDE of the forum. therefore nothing from the forum would be mentioned

Since the only contact we've had outside the forum was a brief pager conversation in which you harassed me on issues we'd already covered on the forums, and an exchange of several fruitless e-mails in which you reiterated the very same crap at greater length, it's safe to say all our connections are forum-related. Therefore it'd be impossible not to bring up forum issues, unless you cared to make it personal which would contradict what you said about no insults.

The bottom line is that I don't like talking to you here, but I do so because there's some merit in standing up for reason. There's no good excuse to spill that over into another medium, let alone one I don't like using and that reaches into my very home.
I find it disturbing, Dareb, that every time you get clocked in an argument badly enough you look for some more intrusive means of communication. Partly I think it's just because one-on-one, you're a lot less vulnerable to being caught in a mistake or a lie. As for why you choose to jump to minor forms of invasion (that pager stunt being the least of them) when cornered, I have nothing else to add but unflattering speculation which for the sake of politeness I'll leave out.

For the last time, no. I'm never going to open the door for you to contact me in this manner. I don't want you e-mailing me again, and I certainly won't stand for a phone call, no matter how sweet a tone you may take.
