I know this is kind of late, but my first paycheck turned out to be 20 dollars. I only worked for 4 hours. Oh well, the first 20 dollars in the millions to come!

Ok, do this.

multiply your wages by 40 hours. then multiply that by the mount of weeks in a year.

then multiply that by around 40. that is the (estimated) amount of money 40 years will get you.

Kind of sad, isnt it?

You cant just rely on jobs. some people are satisfied with their lives but others strive for more success, and the earlier the better.

Good luck sariat.

That's what working forty years at minimum wage will get you. If you're like anyone else in this world, you don't earn minimum wage except at entry-level.

52 * (5 * 40) isn't a small amount of money, either. $10,000 a year might seem slim (well, on the Canadian dollar it would be), but think of foreign workers that earn 3 cents per full day of hard labour.

One of 3 things is going to Happen to me:

A) I play for the Dallas Cowboys, with a 8-12 million dollar a year contract for 4-7 years.

B) I make my own gaming company.

C) I do something with business (Stock market, business store, something like that)

Okay, so you make 0 dollars an hour, and you'll make 20,000 off wellfare in your life. Congrats Dareb!

Everyone always talks about this like its a horrible thing, but it's still $0.03 more cents an hour than they'd be making otherwise. Those countries may not have as many opportunities as ours, but they're still essentially free... if native employment provided more resources, they wouldn't be working in the factories.

Yes, the workers are being exploited. At the same time, it would be devastating to them if the "exploitation" stopped.

I believe we empower third world mothers by going into their country and taking their job away from them.

I think I'm going to go picket now.

Kind of sad that you expect him to make the same money in 40 years that he makes in his very first job at a fast food restaurant. Most people set their sights a whole lot higher than that, Dareb.

I have only been working for 22 years, but my pay is already 10 times what I first earned. Actually, almost exactly 10, when I look at the math. I don't feel sad at all about that.

Im writing up a book and several scripts, im pretty sure at least one will sell, in that case I wont have to worry for a short time afterwards.

Im also not neglecting education, or training. So while I'm in this slump that I've dug myself into, all I can do is wait.

yea, they should really have labour laws all over the world in every country.

Even if they are nowhere near America's and Canada's average standards for labour. It would still be a slight improvement.
