Make sure not to download Green Lime's Petting Zoo demo. It contains a virus. Pass this on.

EDIT: Thanks Dogman. Wasn't thinking. :P
I advise you change the topic of your post to "Warning: Petting Zoo Demo Virus".
People dont like all Caps Topics, or in your case all but one caps.

Just a quick lesson on viruses:

Any file has the capacity to contain a comnputer virus. The file may be enlarged or corrupted or there might be garbled text in it or whatever.

Only an executable coded in a specific language can transmit a virus. The executable is infected and the virus code is added to it. The virus code might overwrite all your pictures with porn or whatever. The executable must be written in a powerful language for it to pose a virus threat ie. HTML doesn't have the capacity to contain a virus but JAVA does.
As far as I know, DM isn't a virus threat as it cannot edit files on your PC without you giving it permission.

Not true, the newest viruses can infect your computer even by rolling your curser over an icon, tech tv was warning about it being in mp3's.

Strictly speaking this is a mistaken analysis.

There is an exploit in Windows XP that apparently allows malicious code to execute from mousing over a media file, but this isn't any inherent capability of a virus; rather it's a bug in the OS's ancillary software. As far as I know, no virus yet exploits this.
