How hard is it to learn? I want to learn it. Is it hard than DM? Just tell me everything a beginner would need to know. Thanks in advance. Or if you can't tell me a good site would be nice.

VB is good for quickly whipping up a program, but for serious money-making skills, stick with learning Java, Delphi, C++, or any other modern languages like PHP (not only just for websites!), Perl, Python, SmallTalk, Tcl, etc...
Learning VB also depends on what you want to use it for, and where you learn in from. There are some good developments in VB - but I would not rely on it as a carrier choice, especially since VB.net is replacing it more-or-less... Check out your favorite search engine with the words 'VisualBASIC tutorials' and browse around... My other recommendation for dumping VB is that you can get the other modern languages mentioned above (exept Delphi) for free - often including a huge amount of support from the related communities... |

Is C++ really hard to learn? Because I've heard it's not hard to learn but it's hard to write without getting errors. But how long would it take me to get it so that I can do it efficiently? I wouldn't put too much time in, mabey an hour a day. Thanks for your help.

VB is a good language for 'prototyping' - building a copy of your program that only contains things like the display and the menus. For example, the prototype of Dream Seeker wouldn't be able to access worlds, page people or browse the internet.
