Game of the Year?

the two most recent MK games are side view , yes, but are 3d(like virtua fighter and tekken.) Meaning you can move the arena in 4 directions. The most recent(technically mortal kombat 5) has awsome graphics and some intense fighting. Each character has probably 30-50 unique fighting moves in two different styles, and most have around 10 weapon style moves, and a few different weapons have the same style.

Ive seen the movie twice already. And I would buy the game even if it werent that good.
