Is it just in Utah or is it anywhere else too. Several of our stations have been brodcasting a computer generated voice saying T-blahdays,blahhours,blahminutes,blahseconds then says a bad joke, then repeates. It's website is www.stealingradio.com (don't worry, they site is safe even though it looks suspicious) and I tracked that it's website owner is Clear Radio Communications in San Antonio Texas. This confuses me, are they just a radio company that are switching the radio stations for several channels, or is it really a radio "bug" like it says?
Uhhh.... *shifty eyes*

I think it might have said San Antonio, Nebraska....

*shiftey eyes*

Yeah...

*walks out of the room*
In response to Sariat
I respect a man who uses two different spellings of the same word :P
In response to my earlier question regarding Paul Weller, YES! Weller and Wilco can share the #1 spot for 2002. There, it's settled.

In other news, it appears someone has taken over KISN 97 (97.1 FM, central Utah) as well as the station's website. Unfortunately, they're using their position to do nothing but transmit (mostly) apolitical nonsense, with the occasional anti-consumerist cliche thrown in for good measure. Oh, well.

They are somehow connected to www.StealingRadio.com. According to the whois reports, StealingRadio.com is owned by Clear Channel Communications, who just happen to own KISN 97.

A search of the Internet Archive reveals nothing. Strangely enough, KISN 97's company info page is still online.

Sounds suspicious, doesn't it?

Given these facts, it's probably safe to assume that this is some cheesy ad campaign. Unwittingly assisted by yours truly. Once again... oh, well.

Regardless, you heard it here first! I'll keep you posted if anything interesting happens.
