Hmm, I have 2 very of a quirky ideas.

First: If you have ever played Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, you've probably listened to the radio station "VCPR". Well, on that station is "Pressing Issues with Marice Chaves. ". It'd be pretty cool, yet hilarious, to see a BYOND program where you discuss a certain topic brought up by a host. I know we have the Forums here to do that... but it's just an idea. Besides, it'd be in real time (and no, I'm not just talking about a "chatter" game)

Second: I don't know if this would be illegal, but prehaps DanTom could make a BYONDCasino program, where you bet your BYONDimes to make or lose BYONDimes.

Well, those are just my "quirky i-dee-urs". Yay.

That's exactly what the BYONDscape Athenaeum is intended to be like! Except without the nudist who jumps out brandishing a pistol. But it could make a fun game too, if the audience could vote for the best panelists.

Yeah, this would be nifty, but almost definitely illegal. If you search the forums there have been many debates on this!

've thought about the BYOND casino and mabye even a Byond Lottery but guess we can't do those. But what if some one even created a BYOND radio station. Were they play there songs or cds for people?

also for this discussion program does BYOND have support for microphones? If not we should try to get Dan and Tom to add it in :P

I've heard of this "BYONDscape Athenaeum" before, but I've never seen it. Where is it? (if it's been released already)

Its not out.. at all :P
I think its going to be a while before anything happens on it due to Xooxer being away... theres more on it on Chillin in the Penn thread i believe

As Maz noted, it's not out yet. The plan is that it will be based on Xooxer's Chatters engine, but Xoox is out of commission at the moment, so we're out of luck. I actually got a homemade version of it about 70% completed before I found Chatters -- but Chatters is so much more robust that I'd really rather wait to use it. On the other hand, Xoox might be gone for quite a spell, so I may change my mind on that; we can always start small and switch to Chatters later.

Sadly, it will be for BYONDscape subscribers only. But then, that's only a buck a month! :)

The Radio idea seems good and I'd like to see a mic option...might be a bit complicated for them though.
