And the survey says, you lost one to fetch the 50 I presume this is a kind of inverse allegorical reference to Luke 15:3-4: [3] And he spake this parable unto them, saying, [4] What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? Though the use of "50" instead of "99" is problematic, I suppose it could be justified on the basis that the exact count of the main body of the herd is a mere detail and not crucial to understanding the message.
