Sounds wont play in half life. EDIT: Fixed it

Anyone know what could be cuasing this? I updated my sound drivers, I closed all other running programs, and still they wont play.

EDIT: I fixed it, i think downloading a waveset and selecting it fixed the problem, either way ive got sound now, and im happy. Gonna play Counter Strike for the first time in a few mins, i hope its all its been cracked up to be.

Well ive obviously restarted it considering I updated the drivers. Although you probably didnt think about that. I just want to know about any known conflits concerning the sound in half life.

The only way sounds dont work im my Half Life is if i minimize half life to do something in windows
