A big bluff? We obliterated Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII... And if the Soviet Union would have fired one nuclear bomb at the US or vise versa, we would have went back on them full throttle.
I guess it wouldn't be as big as a massicre if it was a mistake, but it would still be the biggest massicre of people since Nagasaki and Hiroshima if something happened like what happened in the movie "Fail Safe." It is also true for India and Pakistan. |

No offense man, but when you said how Canada has highly trained troops and a few peices of high tech equipment, I was reminded of how on the history channel during WW2, when canada invaded one beach place, their tanks which landed there couldn't move at all because it wasn't suited to moving on pebbles and were defeated. Never heard anything along those lines -- though the Canadian textbooks are definitely biased and that's the kind of thing that would be convenient to forget to put in. (As far as I'm aware, the beach of Normandy that Canada stormed was stormed on foot only.) American school textbooks are just as biased, though. American textbooks claim that the Americans won the War of 1812 and were only forced to retreat to rotate their crops (most of the soldiers being enlisted farmers and all). Canadian textbooks claim the opposite -- that the British troops summarily defeated the Americans and forced them to retreat back to their soil. The win/loss records would make me inclined to support the British-as-victors argument, though. |

We lack the budget, British Columbia that is, because Gordan Cambell spends our money, goes to Hawaii, and gets drunk, then caught by the cops. No, we're not. Canada severed all such ties as a commonwealth country. We allow Britain to appoint a governor-general to keep close ties, but said governor-general is mainly a figurehead. Canada is an independent nation (and, in my opinion, still too young to figure out how the heck to run itself). |

Yeah those terrorists hate that big money making state of Actually it does have several significant industries, and a military base or two of some importance. But more importantly much of the American government agencies are nearby (Washington, CIA and FBI bureaus, etc.). |

I'm aware of this also. But, the US has the cures for all the stuff in Iraq, which they may use on the states. But Canada doesn't, so guess who iraq will attack? US CANADIANS!! And if you knew anything, we all know Iraq, basically has crap weapons, and no they dont have nuclear missles, god dam it, i think they would have already launched em. |

I saw it on the history channels, it wasn't really the beach or normady though, but was another one later. American school textbooks are just as biased, though. I can beleive that heh. |

They're too far away anyways to launch a nuclear weapon. I don't see why people are worried about them here, even if they could have it store enough fuel to propel it and the fuel all the way to the u.s., sattelites most likely would pick it up or something and would've launched a anti-air missile while it was a good distance away.

He's referring more to the fact that Canada is a liable target for the United States; we have everything that the United States wants -- oil/petroleum, uranium, precious metals, water, lumber, and fish -- and a bunch of annoying diplomatic channels that they have to go through to get it. I, for one, wouldn't mind actual annexation too much, provided the Americans were civil about it. But losing my individuality as a Canadian citizen would cleave a wound so deep into me that I would never recover. |

You mean those Canadian helicopters?(Hehe, sorry couldn't resist....) Actually, from my knowledge Canada has been producing some top notch aircrafts, its a shame the country feels that it shouldn't take part in the war, and that terrible bombing accident that happened didn't help that choice much. All we need to do is send in ole' Charlie and remake a realistic comedy version of Hot Shots: Part Deux.

Yeah, It was uh. It was French... I know that... It basically opened up Europe for the first time during WW2, allowing troops to invade.

No, It's 1 country (US)and 10 troops from the 6 other countries.
The only reason all the other countries got involved was Bush needed them for diplomatic reasons at the UN. |

We were talking about if ONE nuclear bomb hit soil.
Anyways we would have detected them and fired back from Turkey before they all hit if they had all of them fired. |
