I was just curious as to why there are so many unpublished games being played. I counted barely 10 published games being played this morning, and way more unpublished ones. Is there a reason for this? Just curious...

More people are GM in unpublished games than published games, or at least that's my guess.

because its hard to get a game into published status maybe?

In order to publish a game, the game has to meet certain standards. Most of the unpublished games are missing at least one of the requirements, which keeps them from being published.
As for the rest, they're probably still unpublished simply because they aren't finished, and still have features being added to them regularly. But, I'm not a reviewer nor am I involved in any way with reviewing things, so everything I say is just what I figure, not may or may not be accurate. | |
