I was reading some old posts by my mapper for Maeva about how big peoples' worlds were. It seemed like most people were using Z-levels as just extra spaces for maps. I'm wondering how big people's worlds have gotten now and if anyone else uses Z-levels as an actual 3rd dimensional coordinate, or for anything else besides just maps to teleport between.

For anyone who cares, and I think I've already said it. Maeva is to be eventually made up of around 13 servers. All but one hosting a 750x750x10 map. 6 of these servers will be the 6 sides of our rather cuboid Prime Material Plane, the other 6 will be for elemental and outer planes, and one server to rule them all, one server to find them, one server to connect them all and with addresses bind... wait a second.
My biggest single world map is Star Traders.. 500x500 tiles. And it warps at the sides.. all on 1-z of course.
