Last night at 2:30am I was walking home, I was walking down the road minding my own business and some guy behind me walking was like "Ya, you better keep walking".. I turned around and was like "Excuse me, who the hell are you to tell me what to do"? He was nuts and pulled out a knife. I was like "Calm down buddy, no one's going to get hurt.." Thank god a cop came around the corner and I flagged him over. The public is filled with idiotic imbosils, it's astonishing that you can walk from one destination to another without getting mugged.

I'm sorry, but most people who pull out a knife to mug you has no idea how to hold it. You could easily kick it out of their hand, though that is not smart.

Hmm...One day I got home from school and I was getting off the bus, and I was walking towards the end of the street when this big black kid tripped, so I got up and I was like "why the hell did you do that bastard" and he said "don't swear at me I don't like it, try it again" so me being the thick minded fool did swear at him again, the next thing I know I'm pinned up against a fence getting punched to crap. A few seconds later I lost my breath and sat there gasping for air. Well I never messed with him again.
It goes to show you how there are idiots everywhere. I've never had a knife or anything pulled out on me, but I have been threatened by nun-chucks . -Joey- | |

Heh, it's my opinion that a knife really isn't anything to be too frightened of...
If someone were to pull a knife on me, I'm fairly certain I'd come out alright (probably cut up a bit, but alive... and that's really all that matters to me)... It takes a lot to kill someone fast enough that they can't fight back... You've got to hit just the right spot to do any fatal damage... Even more precise to do instant fatal damage... Even a wound that would bleed someone to death gives that person enough time to, at the very least, get away to get help... So, I'm confident that I could handle a knife-wielding attacker... The only thing that would keep me from defending myself is death, and like I said, that's not likely to happen... Don't get me wrong, though... I'm not going to go looking for knife-weilding attackers...lol And I'd surely go for other, safer options first if possible... But in the event of the only way out is by fighting off the attacker, I'm certain I'd be fine in the end... Even if I'm laying in a hospital bed for a while... | |

Obviously youve never actually tried to kick a knife out of someones hand.
A) You get stabbed before you foot is off the ground, even if the person is slow the average kick to the mid section can be seen miles away. B) Even if you do manage to kick there hand, they probably wont drop the knife, and they will probably cut your leg up a little without even trying. C) If you know enough to disarm them via a kick, you know enough to back away and run, or disarm them using a less risky method. Simply put, dont try it. | |
