BYOND article. Need YOUR help!

Im writing an article about BYOND. Who created it, why it was created, when it was created, what it is, and many many various things about it. if ANYONE has ANY information on BYOND, or any interviews with dan/tom, please post or give me a link. thanks.

ALSO:If anyone knows other languages and some things about them/programs you can use to code with them, that would be greatly appreciated (ex: C, C++, Java, Javascript, all of these i know NOTHING about)

I THINK Byond is written in C. I'm not 100% sure tho.

There is a copy of a interview on byondscape and on Mellilifluous's website.
I believe it was coded in C++

Well if you are looking for information, check the beginning of the blue book. That has some stuff about why it started and all that junk. Don't know if you already knew that :-)

Lebaria hasn't updated his/her site since Feb 2002, I don't think he/she is going to see your request. Also other areas of his/her website are even older than that.

Sorry, I just got word from Jinjo about this thread and I as you state, Kunark, I would have never seen this request if it wasn't for Jinjo!

Also, the site has been pretty untouched for a while, and I don't think my site is up anymore, so how you peeps are able to see it I have no idea...

Anyhow, Airjoe, you may use the interview and ANY information on that site as you please :)

Glad you asked to use it before you took it hehe, either way, I wouldn't mind people taking certain information from it, not like it is going to hurt me...

Well, as Nadrew pointed out to the link on the BYONDscape site to his interview with Dantom, I guess that is where you're getting your information from.

Considering that my site has been down several months now, and all the people I have contacted to host my site turned me down, so I have left it down.

If you would like bits from the site of mine that went down, contact me via AIM, you know my AIM screen name hehe.

Anyhow, the sites URL be http://leewhittaker.br0ken.org -- But as most people know, http://www.br0ken.org went down, and therefore, so did my site.
