What do you drive. And for you older "people", what did you drive during highschool. I'm currently looking for a 1966 Mustang to fix up. And I can't find any good deals. So, I would like to hear your past experiences with this kind of stuff so I can get some ideas. The other kinds of cars I'd be interested in buying are:

Year: 1960-1979 (For all the cars)

Firebird
Trans Am
Mustang
Camaro
Nova (Not really, but if I can find a REALLY good deal, I'll buy)

I'm basically looking for classic muscle cars.

Plymoth Voyager... THATS RIGHT! A minivan! When I get my liscense I'm going to be a soccer-mom! =D
Right now I am driving a modified 98 Mustang GT with a 5 Cylinder engine, and the best part was... it was a gift. It didn't cost anyone really anything for me to get it. It was disowned in a legal case and left in our ex-neighbors driveway, so I claimed it.
The color of it is dark green, and it has a leather interior along with a leather bra. It is sweet.

Actually, Im not sure if the year is exactly "98" I was told that, but I am a bit sceptical. Anyway, I had my dad insure it under his name and I pay him, this way I wont be bankrupt due to insurance. Im not sure about all of the paperwork that was involved in getting it, but it took a few months to become my possession. Im just surprised that I don't have any speeding tickets yet.

Hehehehe...I love it when rice burners pull up next to me at a light and begin to rev their crappy little 4 cylinder. Like COME ON!!! Can they really expect to beat my '77 Pontiac Trans Am!? Crazy man!!! I've worked on this car over the past 7 years with my brothers and father, it has near over 550 HP, and about 720+ with NoS.

Back to topic...Buy an old pontiac, such as the year I have. 1977 is my favorite year for the Trans Am, if you can't find one of those, go for a 1969 Firebird. Or, my third favorite car...a 1970 Pontiac GTO "Judge"! But, there's still one more car you could look into...a 1974 Plymouth Duster, EXCELLENT CAR, it has a high rear end light chasis and an outstanding sound! And, the best of the best...these babies came off the assembly line with 350+ HP!
My car-to-be is a black '98 1/2 (Yes, 1998 and a half.) Contour SVT. (Or so I hope)

My brother currently has it, but I'm hoping he'll pass it on to me someday. He's planning on getting one of those new Neons that are comming out. He said that they can out power, out speed, and out handle most of the cars on the roads today. But I'd rather have that SVT. :D

[Edit]

Although currently, I either drive my mom's Pontiac Transport (mini-van), my dad's Thunderbird, or my sister's Lexus SC300

Rice burners are the best! Honda CBR 954RR or a Honda RC51!!! I'm going to drive a 2001 GMC Sierra (GMC/Chevy rules), or a Honda Civic (Honda rules). =P

ICCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!! A Honda in my book are the worst! They're annoying, they smell, they're ugly and they plain out hurt the American economy. Hell, I could get a better sound out of placing a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle wheel then I could out of a Honda, especially a Civic! I mean, sure...they're good for just "getting around". Because, they're definitely the better sport on gas then my olde Pontiac 400. But, what disgusts me is those type of people who buy Honda's/Imports to RACE them!!! And, please note when I say Imports I mean Japanese. But, my biggest notion with this subject is this...I frankly HATE imports of any type! Every time an American buys an import, they're physically hurting the American Economoy! Soo...remember all you big Import fans, every time you buy a Honda, you're supporting terrorism!

Yea, I would NEVER race a Honda, I would just drive it around because thats what I would be givin for free. But to race, a Chevy Camaro :-). My favorite sports car. Too bad they don't make them anymore -_-.

Forest green 98' Mustang GT. 5 cylinder engine, 260 horse power, 20" chrome rims (soon to add a spinner to them so they rotate even when the car stops), black leather interior, and two 15" amps in the trunk. My car is like a new born child to me :-). I am trying to get a DVD player in the dash board and a remote control for the stereo, but that may take a while seeing as though I am not gonna be working full time till June.

One bad thing is that I am not suppost to drive it to school anymore because I was riding around school with the bass and stereo all the way up with my trunk open and the administrators banned me. Luckily I didn't lose my liscense. But just wait till the last day of school, hehehe >:-)

Back before I moved to Germany, I was driving/riding a late 90's Honda GoldWing GL1500 - that beast handled like a sport-bike in slow traffic and was really comfortable to ride, rain, snow or sunshine. And it was fun to occassionally blow the doors of muscle-cars at stop lights. That bike had so much torque it could raise the front wheel off the ground easily.

Now, due to current expenses, I ride a 2001 Aprilla off-road racing bicycle - great excersize since the office is only a few kilometers away.

I have a 4-door 1996 Tracker. It has high mileage but runs great (knock on wood). Lots of headroom, hardly any blind spots. In theory it has 4-wheel drive, but I've never tried it.

I know for fact that 5 cylinder engines are possible because my car has one installed, and it is beautiful. There is no grease around it, it is spotless. Im not sure if they come default or not, but the car I have definately has one I dont know how much it was worked on in its history though.

'94 Plum Saturn SL2

It runs fine, but the weirdest things break, such as, the light on the inside. The light still functions, but it is hanging from the wires. Also, the driver's side mirror broke, but just the actual mirror, not the part that holds it. Also, the rear driver's side door doesn't open from the inside, and sometimes, the passenger's side rear door doesn't open from the outside. I think one of the seat belts is missing the buckle.
